Our Highlighted Book of the Week: Hello Honey Bees! :-)

This lovely book is one of our very favorites;
“Hello, Honeybee!” By Hannah Rogge and Illustrated by Emily Dove

I found this book while doing research for Bee books.
I took a chance on it, buying the book sight unseen,
and without any reviews to go off of; I’m so, so glad
that I went ahead and bought it! We truly love it and
are so thankful for the hands-on aspect that “Hello, Honeybee!” brings to
reading with toddlers!

Our Featured Book of the Week (and possibly our Very Favorite Bee Book) is "Hello, Honeybee!" By Hannah Rogge and Illustrated by Emily Dove! 😊❤ 🐝 We LOVE this book, and, out of all the books in our Bee Unit Study, "Hello, Honeybee!" definitely ranks in our top 4 favorite bee books (you'll see our other favorites, soon)! 😍❤🐝 This book is just sooooo cute! My kiddos love flying the little bees that hang on the ribbon from the book. They make the bees do the "waggle" bee dance and help them gather pollen or drink nectar from the flowers. Time after time, my kiddos come back to this adorable, hive-shaped book; it makes my Mama heart very happy to see them learning while playing with it. 😍❤😊🐝

As you can probably tell by now, I highly recommend the book, “Hello, Honeybees!” 🙂

In my opinion, this book is best suited for children ages 2 to 7, though is a very enjoyable book for adults to read aloud as well, especially because of the lovely illustrations found on every page!

I appreciate that “Hello, Honeybees!” encourages children to interact with the bees throughout the entirety of the book….that feature is what draws my children and students in the most! 🙂
