🙂 Read some of our thoughts on these books in our Instagram post below:🐝

Out of ALL of the bee books we have read and gathered during our Unit Study, we have used these two highlighted books the MOST; they are perfect for referencing things like honeycombs and how bees make honey, etc..

What everyone seems to love most about both “Amazing Bees” and Busy, Buzzy Bee,” is how both books show real-to-life (not cartoon) photographs of bees and flowers, and honeycombs; this really helps the kids (and adults!) get a real-life visual of the things that we are talking about (like cell combs, bee larvae, etc.)! The vivid photograph aspect is what keeps my kiddos coming back to, and visiting, these books time after time, and week after week.

Amazing Bee,” and “Busy, buzzy bee,”  almost always end up getting pulled out for reference whenever we discuss bees or make a bee themed craft! ❤🐝

I really appreciate that these books are also quite affordable;  they are actually far more budget friendly than some of our other bee books. Due to their lower pricepoint, I was pleasantly surprised that these particular DK books were of such good quality; I am most especially impressed in the quality of images and information they provide.

I definitely recommend these books to others, and, if I could only have one or two bee books for a unit study, I would definitely choose these as my top picks!!! Even us adults enjoy the interesting information and vivid photographs found on every page, and, as a teacher, I often find myself stopping to open one or both up to reference in the middle of bee related lessons!
